Sharp pains

OKay, now this might seem weird...or not. First pregnancy im just under 38 wks and past couple of days had sharp twinges in the area of my clitoris. Had urine tests done and all negative so no infections. Also some sort of cramp sharpness in the groin area.
Has anybody experienced anything liek this? Could it just be muscular linked to baby moving down?
I mentioned it to the midwife who said that any pain in that area is a good thing because it means hes getting ready!!

titch, i have those, i just put it down to the baby headbutting me

sometimes when im walking down the street and baby does this, it makes me wince! and tiptoe!

is this how you feel?, maybe its a different sensation for you and something else, but in my experience thats what it seems to be

If it's like a nipping feeling then it's baby I'm afraid, having a feel around! Nothing you can do. I suffered from this last time from around 36 weeks until he came out. Only thing I could do was to lie on my back supported by lots of pillows to take the pressure off down below.

hi, thanks. Yeh that sounds about right. Just wanted to make sure was 'normal' lol
