At 28 weeks i had regular contractions, ended up at local maternity unit then they subsided. After this every 4 weeks i went into what i thought was labour-kind of contractions that you have to bend over and stop what you are doing!.
In all i had 4 false starts and ds was 10 days late and induced-there i was thinking i would have a very prem baby.

Hope this helps IYSWIM

YellowFeathers · 27/05/2006 19:34

Right then. That does make me feel alot better. I don't want to be ringing the labour suite up for nothing.

Thanks Smile

Keep a note of today, and see when it happens again,it could be a pattern-mine was every full moon, seriously!

YellowFeathers · 27/05/2006 19:39

Full moon, lol!

Yes I'll keep a note. Had a weird week health wise so maybe it's just that.
Nicnack, could be a UTI.

I have been having loads today too! (33 weeks)
Is it a full moon?

I did some research on the internet and they say it sometimes happens a lot if you are dehydrated.

Am drinking water as we speak to see if it helps!

PinkTulips · 27/05/2006 20:27

are you taking your iron yet? and drinking loads of water? will tut-tut if your not!

seriously though, the stress of the house sale and everything could be making them worse too, go and have a lovely warm bath and chill pet, you need it Smile

With DD2 I had them from about 18 weeks, and as DD1 had been a bit prem, I had to keep an eye on them.

Really, they were a PITA, and I went 9 days over in the end.

Think I have an irritable uterus.
