Health Visitor Visit... before bump arrives

As subject - is anyone else due to have a HV visit before bump is due?

As an exHV I can tell you that I NEVER "inspected" anywhere. If it was a pre-birth visit it was about just saying hello and introducing myself.

Following birth it was all about how the new parents were doing and answering any queries.

I certainly did not inspect houses for cleanliness or tidiness as this was likely to make me feel inferior..

You don't have to see her and the chances are that if all goes well you won't see too much of her afterwards either.
