Anyone else finding they are
swelling due to the weather?

In down to 3 vest tops and 3 pairs of trousers that fit.

2 weeks and 5 days to go before intervention starts.

I am down to 2 maxi dresses now and some pyjamas, grew out of my maternity jeans and tops many moons ago Sad i can fit my feet into flip flops but thats it, everything else is too tight on my feet.

I tried lying on the floor the other day and putting my feet on a chair to see if my swelling would go down, i got stuck on my back for a long time!

Yep. Puffy, swollen, hot, uncomfortable, huuuuuge bump.
Down to about 4 tops that for comfortably and one wrap top for meals out etc. 2 pairs of jeans (one on its way out and one that keeps rolling down so MUST be worn with long top) and one pair of white linen trousers, that absolutely cannot be worn around ds and dd, just defeats the object of white really....
Can't wear shorts or 3/4s due to horrendous thrombophlebitis.
I look a tit in leggings as size 18 and with the dodgy lumpy legs it just doesnt look flattering in the slightest!
Can't wear sandals or open toe-d anything because I'm weird and can't stand my feet being out. Bought two pairs of dolly shoes to keep cool, can't get them on my fat puffy feet and no amount of uncomfortable stretching is going to help any time soon,
Sooooo.....I'm stuck with jeans, pumps (with socks I might add, v. Hot!) a vest top and an open cardi.
Not very summery or cool in the slightest!
Whinge whinge whinge.......

I'm loving the tan though. I refuse to go into labour looking pale after this week! I can't wait to wear all those summer clothes again. Oooow not long now!

Big time. 38+4 and my ankles are the size of my thighs. I get deep grooves on my feet with any sandals, even loose flip flops. Jeans are the only trousers that fit, my legs are disgusting anyway with veins, marks, and general ugliness. I have at least got about 5 tops that are ok so I can swop those around, but the jeans are driving me insane. And don't even get me started on the under bust itching, sweating and soreness even with a good bra!

I have taken to putting clothes on just to go to and from preschool with DD and then coming home and stripping off. The postman is likely to get a shock one day soon! Come on baby...

Littlemissexpecting · 10/06/2013 17:04

I'm another stripping off! DHs boxers very comfy ideally with one of his t shirts too (obviously only at home).
Even my loosest flip flops are cutting in to my feet. I can't wait to wear my wedding ring again.
Tried to put leggings on yesterday and struggled to get them over my feet! So glamorous this pregnancy business. Maximum of 3 weeks to go so the end is near...

MisselthwaiteManor · 10/06/2013 17:17

I'm puffy, fat and TOO BLOODY WARM. I waited ages for this weather and I hate it! I don't bother getting dressed most days, unless I have to go out, but even then it's only so I don't embarass DH. I'd happily waddle around Asda in my pants at this stage.

TinkyPeet · 10/06/2013 17:46

Cupcake - good luck with the tanning. Remember higher factor sun cream tho, seriously 20 minutes of actual sun yesterday and I'm 'crispy'!!! And I never burn! I usually have lovely olive skin and can stay in the hot sun for hours with no/minimal cream on. Pregnancy hates my skin :(

feet have gone puffy.. hands have swollen a bit too. w35 here so still a little while to go.

Am really hoping I don't have to take engagement ring off.... but yesterday considered it might have to come off at some point... :(
