I am 39+2 today and have been having strong Braxton Hicks since about 35 weeks, even putting the washing in the washing machine would give me them! Grin now i have had absolutely none since Wednesday afternoon even though my activity has been the same, i had some period pains yesterday but they stopped. Has anyone else experienced this? I fell like i'm more likely to go really overdue now.

Hi, yep I have. On and off between 34 -37 weeks and then totally died down. Baby movements still the same though. I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and have had a few more yesterday and today, keeping my fingers crossed it won't be too long until labour! Im sure it is normal and different for everyone, however if you are worried or concerned speak to your MW. X

I had regular and sometimes pretty strong BH from bang on 36 weeks (had odd ones from before 30 weeks) and I was just thinking the same. They haven't totally gone but definitely less in the last couple of days ad I was thinking just last night how odd it was as I'd just got used to it Wink I'm 38+5 and I've now got the period pains too. My boobs are hurting more again and I'm leaking a little but trying to not drive myself mad in thinking it means he'll come son (desperate now! lol)

Hi me too! Ive had v string BH since 31 weeks & they stopped completely at 40 weeks. Now almost 41 weeks & I still havnt got any signs labour is imminent!! It's really deflating just wanting/waiting for a sign & labour.

It seems to be normal for a few of us so hopefully things will progress naturally very soon.
