I've been keeping fit and active during pregnancy (well, in the 2nd trimester; and I mean v haphazardly) but occasionally my inner thighs, at the top where they meet my trunks, have felt achy like I've done way more than I have, or have nearly pulled muscles or something. I started swimming again then stopped when I read that breaststroke can be bad for your hips.
The other day I had a long but v leisurely cycle ride - so far cycling has been absolutely fine - but I also spent 2-3 days walking around in high heel wedges because I had meetings and no smart flat shoes - anyway one of the other of these things seems to have made the pain much worse.
Today I can hardly walk, my right hip is achy and I feel all seized up, and have the occasional shooting pain down my buttock.
I'm literally shuffling along instead of walking, if I try to walk I limp!
ARGH I'm only 26 weeks really need some reassurance / advice .. Obviously I know some women have much, much more significant symptoms to contend with and you have all my sympathy! I'm keen to avoid making this worse or stressing about it if it is nothing like SPD actually is.
