I'm now 37 weeks. Baby is in a posterior position ie his/her back is in line with my back. If he/she doesn't move then I have the prospect of a long and painful labour. Something to look forward to!!
Does anyone have any ideas of how to encourage the baby to move, or any success stories?
I'm trying to go on all fours when I can and wiggle my bum in the air, as has been recommended.

Its a really attractive position isn't it? My biggest problem was the neckache I got when trying to wactch telly in it.

Elvis - My ds was back to back. My labour started with mild back pains.... which got stronger and stronger. Ds didn't turn until I was pushing, but the whole labour was only 7 hrs which is good for a 1st baby. It did mean I was oushing for a good hour before he turned, but when he did he shot out!!

You are doing the only thing I have heard that works, but if it doesn't I just wanted to reassure you that it doesn't necessarily mean a long horrible labour. He's got lots of time to turn and may leave it to the last minute like my ds!

Good luck.
