Piles :(

Some reassurance needed! I've had piles pretty much all pregnancy which has been uncomfortable/itchy but hey ho what can you do. But now I'm nearing the end and faced with the fact that people are going to see them. Sad Got a sweep booked today and there's the labour itself too of course.

It's my second child so I am aware that during the labour I probably won't give a hoot what stuff looks like or exposure or anything, but it's in those moments before during internal exams etc that I'm just feeling apprehensive and embarrassed about!

Is it not more common to have the
In pregnancy than not to have them?

Also with exams and sweeps there isn't a lot of looking its mostly about the feel!

Trust me they have seen every type of flue and bumhole going! Don't worry yourself about it x

I bet they see a lot of piles in a maternity ward! It is so so common in pregnancy. I bet that they've seen a lot worse too, so maybe think about that!

Thanks guys! That really helped. I somehow hadn't thought of the fact that lots of people get them (as I didn't really have them this badly in my first pregnancy - just a tiny bit towards the end). Just went for my sweep and it was all fine.

Hi rrreow! If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure mine are worse Wink. Just console yourself with that fact!
