Nub Theory? Is there anything in it?

So found out today about nub theory being able to identify the sex at 12 weeks.

I've had a go looking at my scan pics but still don't really know what I'm looking for! Anybody have good experience of finding out using the nub test and would anyone like to hazard a guess at what my little monkey might be? I'm still clueless!

On my 12 week scan I could see the nub clear and if google was right then it was a girl......I've had a private scan and it is a girl

Ha, I couldn't see a thing either but not sure what I was looking for. Guess I'll have to wait and hope we find out at the 20 week anomally scan.

My hospital doesn't tell you so I had to pay for the gender scan, just meant I found out at 16 weeks instead of the 20

Nice clear pictures, but can't see anything. Fwiw i was told when expecting my girls to look for 3 lines as that is the outline of girls parts, unsure what boys would look like.

Oh yes I love nubsessing. But sadly no nub in your pics, legs in way. Lovely baby though my nub looked girly, and I find out on the 30th so we shall see! Good luck
