Hi mums.

I am exactly 8 weeks pregnant following a previous miscariage so very excited but very nervous also.

Everything was going well last week when I saw a heart beat at 7 weeks.

However, this last few days have been worrying me, as I suddenly dont feel pregnant! No sickness, not as hungry/tired etc and some period type cramps have become quite frequent, its also tender when I press on my tummy.

Can any one reassure me, or offer advise please?

Thanks

The only advice I could offer is to contact your midwife or the early pregnancy unit at your hospital. They should be able to give advice, check you out to see if everything is ok. One good sign is the lack of bleeding so hopefully everything should be fine. Put your mind at rest and give them a call.

Thanks Seona.

Unfortunately no body is available today. I called hospital etc, and no one avail untill Tuesday.

I will just try to relax until then. x

NMH, you may be one of the lucky ones whose symptoms subside suddenly Smile. If you are still worried though (and worrying is par for the course in this pregnancy game), I wouldn't be fobbed off by the bank hol. If your hospital has an early preg unit, you can self refer and just turn up there. I did this on many occasions, notably Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday! Bank holidays hold no fear! If your hosp for some reason doesn't have one, then I'd go to the labour ward and ask to speak to a MW, just to put your mind at rest.

If you have seen the heartbeat though, this is a good sign. Let us know how you get on.
