And did you feel it was the right amount of time off before? Straw pole...

Last day was last Friday at 36+2. This week and next week are AL so actual mat leave kicks in at 38+2.

I have had an uncomplicated pregnancy so far but I was definitely ready to go last week.

I am gutted that the weather's so nice while i'm off and I'm on the wagon! Grin

I find its reassuring to see people finishing fairly early I thought it would just be me.

I'm going to finish at 34 with two weeks annual leave before starting maternity leave at 36. I've got a pre-existing health condition which make me knackered anyway so I'm reckoning I'm not going to be up to much. Also have crap commute over over an hour drive which tires me too and leaves my arse killing me now.

With DS1 I finished work at 37 + 2 and was admitted to hospital that afternoon, had DS1 at 37 + 5 so with DS2 I finished work at 36 + 3 had a nice week at home and had DS2 at 37 + 6. With me seems as soon as I spot working the baby makes an appearance! I put it down to commuting and a stressful busy job, as soon as you stop the body takes over.
