Changing bags for 2 in cloth

I've been through the thread about changing bags and loads of people recommend the skip hop dash - some say it's v spacious. We currently have it, and one in cloth and it is full before snacks etc get added.

We will have 2 in cloth come September, so it is not going to be big enough. it needs to hang on our double decker tandem which doesnt have a basket when 2 are loaded, and not hit the bottom rider in the head, and it needs to also be carriable not just by hand handles.

Anyone got any fab ideas? otherwise we will be looking at what we can clip onto the skip hop in a bag lady kind of way!

How about a large rucksack - as in a grown-ups one rather than a novelty kiddie one.

I use one which was probably originally intended for walkers/workers (could fit an A4 folder easily in, and has numerous internal pockets so good for keeping nappies, snacks separate). Think I got it from an ebay store.

I have been looking at getting some hamster bags for my tandem + 2 kids. Not the prettiest looking things butcheap and practical. I think skip hop do a twin bag too but it looks like its better suited to a side by side.

the skip hop twin bag is lovely!! shame i havent got a twin buggy!!

I've got rucksacks but i cant see how they will stay on the buggy, and i'm not prepared to push a double and carry a bag!!

What tandem have you got? I have gone for the phil andteds dot so it can handle the bags on the side as it is quite slim anyway. Tbh the hamster bags are the only things i could find that wont knock the baby in the lower seat out and i am thinking they can have one each. Happy to be proved wrong though :)

I've got a Babymule. Currently expecting DS2 and DS1 is still in nappies too. So I haven't actually used it with two kids yet but a TON of stuff fits into it. It has two large compartments and lots of little compartments too.

I got it especially because I wanted a rucksack type bag (but you can convert it to a messenger style bag too and it has special pram tags so you can hang it on the handlebars without it dangling around your feet or on a baby's head) because I'm planning on putting DS2 in a sling a lot of the time. Another reason I chose it is because I read lots of reviews on amazon and several of them specifically mentioned how it's convenient for real nappy users.

It comes with a changing mat (it's compact/thin, so doesn't take up half the bag the way my current changing mat does) and a small separate bag that you could fit 1-2 nappies and some wipes into, so great for taking into the changing area rather than lugging the whole bag if you're in a restaurant or something.

I fitted everything in my skip hop dash when I had 2 in cloth.

I found using BTP nappies the best way as either child could wear them.

I used to have a change of clothes each, at least 4 nappies + wraps, wipes, muslins, drink & snack.

It used to fit in the basket if my Phil and teds sport when it was in newborn/ toddler mode & even when in 2 toddler mode.

Now I am back using it for DC3 there is so much extra space in it!!
