Title says it all, really. If I really need the loo (eg 4am) I don't feel like I need a wee, it's just really painful, as much as period pains but a steady ache.

Is this a) a bladder infection b) just things pressing in funny places when I lie down and so I just need to get used to it c) something to worry about?

I'd def get it checked out. COuld easily be a urine infection (v common in pregnancy) in which case you could need anticiotics to zap it.

I don't know, but I would definitely take a urine sample to the GP. Urinary tract infections can be virtually symptomless and can spread and be very unpleasant.
