Will I be late????

I know there's no way of telling but I'm 39 weeks today, I've not lost my plug, my waters haven't gone... In fact there's no sign of this baby going anywhere soon! I'm so fed up and bored and I just want her to come out now!! I've got a ball to bounce on, raspberry leaf tea and I've been walking but nothing's happening. Guess I'm going to have to sit it out and try to be patient!

Sorry to ramble, think I just needed to vent :)

My waters went at 4.10pm whilst I was catching up on Essex lol! Been to hospital and cervix is still closed so its a waiting game now! Fingers crossed it won't be long!

Hi ladies, anyone else had any more signs or any more wonderful arrivals to announce? Still nothing more for me apart from on/off period pain. Getting fed up with all the texts and calls asking if it's happening yet etc and also people sayings he's bound to be late as its your first. Grrrr lol

Hiya! So waters went at 4.10 and baby Mila was born at 2.35am! She's soooo lovely but blimey it was painful! Had the water pool andgas and air but at 1.30am was only 4cm. Next step was pethidine and an hour later she was here! Absolutely exhausted now but we're back home and snoozing. Very peaceful

Oh congratulations Missy!! That's brilliant news and good to hear that you and baby are both well!! Hopefully, I'm next and it's not too long for me now (keeping fingers and ties crossed). Not sleeping very well and so uncomfortable, feeling so fed up and really really just want to meet him. That's great news that two of you have had your babies since your original post! Get lots of rest and wishing you lots of happiness your new bundle of joy!! X

I'm still waiting (40+4 today). Went to hospital yesterday as movements dramatically reduced - baby ok fortunately but showing no sign of wanting to come out. Midwife attempted a sweep but couldn't reach my cervix so I don't think anything will happen soon - which is soooo frustrating!
More acupuncture and another sweep attempt tomorrow which I am praying will work. I then have a week for nature to do its thing else its an induction on the 20th.

Anyone else still twiddling their thumbs, trying to act nonchalant to friends and family while fervently wishing their baby will make an appearance soon???
