Why do people keep asking me if I'm still pregnant WHILE LOOKING AT ME??? (40+2)

I am huge and overdue. I can handle the incessant texts just about, but why oh why do people keep asking me if I'm still pregnant whilst looking at me and them say 'oh weren't you due a few days ago?' When I say 'err no actually'. It's hard to stay polite!!!

Tell them you're not pregnant, and look really really offended.

Love it Hoppus!! I actually responded to one text asking if i'd had the baby by saying 'yes but we didn't like it so we gave it back'... Like you would keep it a secret!!!

Well if it makes you feel any better, I had a neighbour ask me how long I had to go a few days after DS was born. And because I was admitted with threatened pre-term labour at 27 weeks with this pregnancy, I'm getting lots of 'are you still pregnant' messages now (34 weeks). This is our fourth baby. We have always announced births promptly with the other three so I'm a bit offended that they think I might forget this time!

oh, so with you OP!! Am 40+4 and mums at the playgroup (who should remember n know better) 'are u still here?!' 'arent you due?' 'no baby yet?' Seriously, fek away off, i'm clearly still pregnant and no I dont need reminding!!! No longer responding to texts for fear I will be too mean and lose friends

Yes I have not responded to a few... My h doesn't understand why it's so annoying and rude!!!

At least a dozen people stick their heads into my office and ask "You're still working??"
