Is it safe? Have flu like symptoms - headache, muscle pain, vomitting, diarherroa, temp and am 29 weeks pg. Really want to take something for the pain.

It's perfectly safe.

Maybe call your midwife to see if there's anything stronger you could take or be prescribed.

Hope you feel better soon!

Yes, ordinary dose is safe (and preferred to other painkillers). Call MWs if you're worried or if it doesn't go away in a couple of days like a bug normally does.

Thank you both..I've had three vomitting bugs since being pg and now this...work ft have an 18 month old and 29 weeks pg...just feel like I'm constantly ill. Is this normal? Havent eaten in 48 hrs but managing sips of water.

I'd definitely speak to my doctor if I was feeling so bad that I didn't eat for 2 days.

I'm sure it's nothing serious to worry about but they'll be able to do something to alleviate the sickness.

it's fine to take but you need to be careful not to overdose.

but agree with above posters, do see a midwife or dr.
pregnancy does funny things to your body and having a toddler brings home bug after bug is difficult.

get as much rest as you can and as many small meals you can manage --cake/chocolate is absolutely fine if that is all you can manage today.

do you take vitamins? they might be good to help your immune system.

Thank you everyone, I take sanatogen mum to be vitamins and 3 iron tablets a day (mw/Dr prescribed). I always feel exhausted though and have anemia (sp) so am sure that makes me more susceptible to illness.
