.... soooooooooo fed up!
Tired, achy, grumpy...
have no patience with dd2, poor thing. Sad

On the one hand I want to keep going until next Wednesday, because of dd1's birthday, on the other hand I'd rather have him TODAY to get it over with!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

How old is your dd?
Dd1 has her last day at school before half-term today as well...
so next week I will have two children to entertain, great.
To be fair though they do play together quite well, so it's a break in a way.
And at least I won't have to get dressed in the morning for the school run...

DD is 5 in a few weeks.
in a way it would be good that she'll be home. no one needs to go pick her up from school if i go into labour sometime next week etc. but she's been so stroppy lately, i just don't need all the falling out and tantrums right now.

FlameBoo · 26/05/2006 10:04

Remember it well! Good luck! DD spent a lot of time bonding with the nice guys at disney when I was due Wink.

emkana i think its almost better that way - your dds will be home during all hubub of birth and then when things calm you will be in peace! my ds was born feb half term and i dreaded it.
All the best Em...i think everything will seem brighter when he is here Wink x

Thinking of you emkana. I bet you're really looking forward to this stressful pregnancy being over, I know I am with mine--I have 10 weeks to go now.

emkana · 26/05/2006 19:12

Yes I can't wait for it to be over, sometimes the longing to hold this baby is just so immense -
but at the same time I feel anxious and apprehensive about what might lie ahead, so a really strange mixture of feelings.

thinking of you emkana. Hope everything goes as well as it can.

Arabica · 26/05/2006 23:22

I think what I am looking forward to is getting to know my baby as a person and not a medical problem that lives inside me--do you feel the same?

emkana · 27/05/2006 07:36

Arabica - that's exactly what I feel, yes.

At my last scan I could see the baby's face very clearly and I felt such a yearning to hold this baby, to really be able to stroke his little face...
