Any chance of PFB arriving early?!

Hi ladies,

This isn't a loaded question, just more wondering really..

I'm 36 weeks with my first and just started my mat leave. I've kind of assumed all along that I'll go over and my PFB will arrive after my due date as my mum was late having me and all of my friends have been late when having theirs. Also I know it's kind of accepted that your first tends to be late.

So, I was just wondering if anyone had been early with their first (delivered naturally, not induced etc) and if so how early?!

DS came a week early. I just assumed he would be much later and didn't even have a hospital bag packed. The birth was pretty speedy too!

I was convinced I'd be late as mum and sis both 2+ weeks late with all their babies (6 between them).
Dd duly arrived a week early, on my first day of mat leave and 24 hrs before we were due to move house! So yes, I'd agree that what ever you expect / plan for is least likely to happen.
Of course dc 2 everyone told me would be even earlier - turned up a week late.

Yes, a week early here too. It was my second who decided to be a week late Confused
