Congratulations!!! If you are like me you will take about 6 more before you believe it, but...

First step - phone your GP surgery - they will let you know the process in your area. I had to see mine just to be put in touch with the midwives.

If you havn't already, start taking pregnancy vits with folic acid in them.

that's it really!!! Have you worked out when you think you might be due?!

This period was for me almost the hardest part (am 34 weeks now so suspect the real hardest part is about to come Shock).
Basically get in touch with your doctor who will - on person or over the phone -get you in contact with the midwifery team. Then you just sit and wait until your booking in appt (usually 10 weeks or so, although mine was at 13) and first scan )(11-13weeks).
Congratulations! Smile

Congratulations! Get yourself to the docs and organise a booking appointment with the midwife. :)

Congratulations! As others have said, find out how things work in your area (here, we aren't allowed to phone our midwife team to begin things until we reach 8 weeks) and start with the pregnancy vits.
