Pregnant or side affects of coming off the pill?

Hi, I am 18 and have been with my boyfriend for 3 months. I was taking Micronor (mini pill) for only one month but had to stop due to severe symptoms such as heavy mood swings and feelings of depression and have been using condoms since. I came off of the pill over one month ago and still have not got my period, I didn't have a period throughout taking the pill so have therefore missed two months. The past two weeks I have been feeling ridiculously exhausted, cramping, tender breasts and nipples, I've been eating more and my dreams are extremely vivid. Could I be pregnant or is this just the side affects of coming off of Micronor? Blush

Only one way to find out :) pee on a stick if negative then prob pill.

Good luck I was 18 when we had our first baby

I second that, pee on a stick :) if it comes up positive, it's not the end of the world. If it comes up negative, awesome.

I'm 18 and currently preggo with my first; due in November. Keep us up to date!

When I came off the pill I had every pregnancy symptom going but taking a test is the only way to be sure...

Thank you ladies, I just find it odd that only being on the pill for a little less than a month could have such an affect after coming off, which makes me concerned. Everyone's different though I suppose! Fingers crossed x

I suppose the pill is effective from day 1 of you taking it (it's not like you 'build up' its effectiveness by taking it everyday) so although it seems unlikely it's possible you could have some form of withdrawal symptom upon stopping, especially if you've had such a bad reaction. I second everyone telling you to take a pregnancy test.

When I came off microgynon I felt bloody awful. Kicked in about 3 weeks after last pill. I thought I was pregnant because I felt sick, headaches, just how I thought pregnancy would feel. I wasn't pregnant I think it was just my real hormones kicking in, or maybe withdrawals as I was on it for 8 years. The only way to know for sure is do a preggo test. Brew
