These are staples in the summer months for me. Can I eat them?

Generally, yes they are both ok. However, its best to avoid homemade mayo cos of the raw eggs and to make sure the quiche is fresh as a daisy or preferably heated thoroughly - apparently quiche thats been on the shelf for a while may not have been kept cold enough to keep it safe... if I recall it's something to do with listeria forming. Shop bought mayo and properly heated-up quiche are perfectly fine.

perfectly safe, it's only raw (and even then only non lion stamped) eggs you need to be careful with

GoodbyePorkPie · 30/05/2013 16:22

Crayola if you are in the UK raw eggs are safe to eat as they have been lion stamped.

Oh my GOD I could really go some quiche right now.
