early pregnancy and bleeding

Im nearly 6 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding for 5 days, i have no pain and the bleeding isnt like a normal period. I was told by a doctor that it is a miscarage but i had a scan 3 days a go and there was a little blob with a fetal heart beat, i have no idea whats going on

Sounds like you definitely need to check in with the doc again (or a different one). I just had some light bleeding (I'm about 5 weeks along) and google says that it's very normal in early pregnancy. Brown blood is old blood, so red blood is cause for more concern. I know that isn't really an answer but hope it helps a bit.

Thank you, i have an other ultra sound in morning. My midwife also told me that its common to bleed in early pregnancy, but i will find out in morning.

Bad news my baby has grown since my last scan but its heart beat could not be found, and im still bleeding loads. Got to go back in a week to see if its come away. But theres 1% chance that it could still be alive.but got told its not gonna last
