First pregnancy when did you start to show?

Hi everyone

I'm 14 weeks today with my first baby I had a scan a week ago at 12+6 and all looked great baby was waving and everything

I was really bloated in the first few weeks which now seems to have reduced a lot. I'm normally tiny in build (5ft 3 and a size 6/8) but I have no bump really???

My boobs are a bit bigger than normal and my tummy is slightly more rounded than it used to be (still gets a bit bigger during the day) but that's it!

Something must be happening in there because in the evening my poor pelvis bones feel like they're on fire and my lower back/legs ache! Can't lie on my back as that makes it worse so only on my sides and sit with a cushion behind me on the sofa.

Just panicking that I have no real bump but I can feel my fundus easily now?

When did you start to show?

In my first pregnancy I didn't show until I was 6months! I am 5ft and had been a size 10. I am now just over 13wks pg with my second baby and am already starting to how. I think the muscle and everything are just a lot tighter when it's your first baby..that's my theory anyway.

I'm 20+3 pregnant with my 1st. When I was around 12 weeks my clothes stopped fitting me I was a size 10-12 but by week 14-18 I was back in my normal clothes they were just a little tight so I suppose at 12 weeks I must of been quite bloated. Now I'm in maternity clothes ! I felt like I literally woke up with this bump! I don't think there's anything to worry about though as long as scans are fine, everybody is different :)

I dont think people will comment until they are sure your pregnant - they dont want to risk offense and embarrassment!

My tummy (below my belly button) is definitely sticking out more than it usually does and is firm so it's noticeable to me at least

WentOnABearHunt I think you're right! Most people now know I'm pregnant as we had the scan last week and saw all was well but I think they don't want to say 'ooh you've got a bump' until it gets bigger in case they cause offence.

I think I was expecting to notice a size increase too soon. E.g. from last week my tummy hasn't grown very much at all but then baby has only grown about 1.5cm so I suppose it won't

My jeans are now too tight to be comfortable so have definitely grown since I got pregnant

I thought I had started to show at 7 weeks, but around 13 weeks I sort of deflated. Then around 16 weeks I started to show properly, well I say properly. I don't think anyone but my nearest and dearest could tell.

5'4 and normally a 6-8. At the20 week scan noticed my tummy was no longer hollow when i lay on my back. Was30+weeks before strangers started commenting on my bump. By 42 weeks was massive!

around 20 weeks really.Now I'm 28 weeks my bump has overtaken my boobs (miracle as am 36G). Altho people still don't realise unless I'm wearing trousers or my "Baby on Board" badge!

Im in my first pregnancy and im 13+2.. Pretty big already!! Will put a pic on my profile. Every pregnancy is different hun. My mate was huge at 10 weeks. Then my other didnt show untill 22.xx
