I am a combination of exhausted but trying to nest (buying paint samples) and feeling bit guilty re lack of energy to run after DS 2...

I am consoling myself that last time I felt once better once baby was here!

Similar here - have just finished work and my head is full of things I could/ should be doing but taking DD to the park exhausted me for the day and I have spent much of the afternoon on the sofa.
Hoping I will get a surge of energy for necessary nesting!

soupmaker · 27/05/2013 17:45

Am so exhausted. 31 weeks and counting. Have a bit of SPD from being constantly on my feet and awful heartburn. Made DD lie and watch TV with me for hours yesterday after a couple of hours gardening together. Found myself cleaning cupboards and wiping down doors so the damn nesting has started.

Jollyb · 27/05/2013 17:48

Up and down. Pretty good yesterday was cleaning and gardening. Today is a completely different story - just can't be bothered.

tequilacream · 27/05/2013 18:42

31 weeks here - not nesting - DH is nesting for me, bless him. Heartburn, lack of energy, headache and stomachache. Want something, but don't know what... Blah in general plus puffy ankles (and recently hands - had to remove wedding ring as was too tight).

soupmaker · 27/05/2013 19:02

Oh, I forgot about the puffy feet.

Badgerwife · 27/05/2013 20:15

I'm only nesting in my head at this point, and I'm 36 weeks! Knackered a lot and terrible heartburn, also running after a nearly 2 year-old, and starting to feel uncomfortable regardless of whether I'm standing or sitting.

I've done quite a lot of walking today as we went to the beach and I am now completely wiped out. I suspect I won't want to do anything tomorrow.

yellowsnownoteatwillyou · 27/05/2013 20:24

Arrrrghhh 30 weeks and not liking it at the moment, all ligaments sore, keep pulling muscles, and now feel like a balloon is being blown up in my pelvis, apparently this is the head engaging.

Have got to the point I'm now freaking out about everything.

Dh is also nesting for me as I will just end up pulling muscles if I do anything.

ItCameFromOuterSpace · 27/05/2013 20:57

28 weeks with dc2....feeling tired, achey, sore back, sore tooth/gums and in need of nap everyday which as impossible as I work full time.

effyzm · 27/05/2013 20:58

Nearly 33 weeks. Feeling really impatient. I wouldn't wish any harm to my child but I'm feeling pretty fed up. I'm pretty massive in the bump department as well and I know it going to bigger yet. Got another 3 weeks at work, I want to leave now so I can finish my house, it's really not ready for a baby. My tiredness level is ok. Get really tired at some points and can sleep a couple of hours on the sofa and all night easily. I have a feeling this baby is going to be early so I think that's why I'm desperate to get everything sorted. Will probably end up going until 42 weeks lol.

Christelle2207 · 27/05/2013 21:14

30.5 weeks here and thoroughly fed up. Feel physically incapable due to pgp though this is the first time in pg that I've actually "woken up" and not felt the need to go to bed all the time.
So much I need to get sorted yet don't feel I have the physical energy. Managed a swim last night and today was pretty much useless.

Lydia161290 · 27/05/2013 21:15

31 weeks and feeling very tired/drained, but still got the 'nesting urges' and continuing to clean, wash, iron and re-arrange all baby related stuff.
Almost fainted the other day in Kiddicare because of being on my feet for too long, and I'm also getting more hormonal and a little fed up.
DP has told me to take it easy, so I've been taking naps, which I hadn't needed to until now.

Roll on July!

HazleNutt · 27/05/2013 21:23

36 weeks and will you all hate me if I say that I'm feeling fine? Blush
Sure, painting toenails is getting a bit challenging, but still going to the gym and planning to work til due date, no complaints really..

I'm sure, to balance it out, I'll have a horrendous labour and non-sleeping colicky baby..

mildred37 · 27/05/2013 21:45

41+1 and the only word I can think of is HEAVY!

LoganMummy · 27/05/2013 21:49

Mildred - right there with you. I'm 39 weeks and the pressure down below is unbelievable!

ChildOfThe1980s · 27/05/2013 21:50

I'm 39 weeks and feeling well, but I get tired easily.

Can't stand mess at the moment, so doing a fair amount of tidying (worried that I'm going to go into labour and the house will be messy.)

ChildOfThe1980s · 27/05/2013 21:51

I also have a heavy feeling in the bump.

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 27/05/2013 21:55

Nearly 33 weeks and not too tired but have never had heartburn/reflux so bad before that it was actually burning my throat and I was loosing my voice, omeprazole seems to be helping now.

I've had enough of working now though am cutting down mid June from 5 days to 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 some weeks as am self employed so need to work as long as poss.

sjuperyoni · 27/05/2013 22:10

29 weeks and feeling pretty good - energy levels are almost normal, moods are settling, bump is big but a decent size - i struggled to wipe my arse at this point last time i was so huge!

But up until 27 weeks i felt bloody awful - sick, tired, teary, angry, irritable just wretched so i have sympathy aplenty for all of you having a shitty time plus myself when this good stage ends and i go back to never ending peeing and pain and sleeping.. Flowers

jammiedonut · 27/05/2013 22:13

37 weeks and feel like an over inflated water balloon. If bump decides to shift position I feel as though I'm about to burst! On the plus side being so visibly distressed and uncomfortable has prompted dh to run me a bubble bath, light candles and make copious amounts of tea for getting me in this position in the first place!

cupcake78 · 27/05/2013 22:20

36 weeks. Hormonal, fed up, sore, tired, sickly, constipated. Scared of having baby but desperate to feel normal again. Impatient and in no hurry all at the same time.

lookingfoxy · 27/05/2013 22:38

37 weeks and so want my body back.
Am cleaning and decorating until I'm exhausted and my poor ds 8 helping me scrape wallpaper.

Dp praising jy efforts while looking at me like I'm a crazy lady (ds' s current name for me).

joanna1990marie · 28/05/2013 11:24

39+4.......shit. Impatient. Breathless. Tired. Back pain. Peeing myself alot. Piles. Apart from that, absolutely wonderful. Waking up excited every morning thinking oooooo it could be today and then ending up in bed at 11 pissed off because it's goin to be mornin again soon with no baby! But still cherishing all the kicks my little wiggly gives me, I'll miss that x

NewChoos · 29/05/2013 09:23

joanne you'll have a snuggly baby soon and won't miss the wiggles!

I'm having the day off work today, sort throat and cold. At 33 weeks I am at the paranoid stage and worried things will go wrong. Baby moving lots though. Although breech and I have GD, I keep reading about risks on internet so must stay away google. Scan in 3 weeks time to check position and growth.
I may get my sample pots out (paint not urine) to distract myself from my madness.
DS has gone to nursery so I could up my nesting.

I try to think about the longer she stays in there the chubbier her little cheeks will be for kissing, and then that thought is tainted with the other thought that she's getting even bigger and will be coming out of THERE lol.

NewChoos · 29/05/2013 12:30

hmmm, c section more and more appealing!
