UTI aargh!

I'm 13+5 with my first baby - had a scan last Monday and all looked good Smile

However, over the last few days I've developed a UTI (water infection) so feeling rubbish!!

Went to the NHS walk in centre today and got antibiotics which should start working within 24 hours but just another thing to worry about Sad

They didn't seem concerned though. Hoping my little bean is ok in there! X

Don't worry! Unfortunately, they are really common. You're bubba will be fine. Hope the antibiotics kick in soon x

Hello . Go to the health shop and get the sugar free (in wine bottle type holder) Cranberry. It is very expensive but worth it. I didn't end up needing antibiotics.
It is not the same as any of the supermarket brands at all and very hard to drink.

Will try health shop cranberry as well - thanks for the tip!

I really must stay away from google! It isn't your friend in pregnancy! X

oh no, i sooo feel your pain! i have had these continually for the last 6 weeks or so, blasted them with anitbiotics which then gave me the worst thrush ever - could not sit down at one point!

your doc will want to keep an eye on them in case they go to your kidneys but otherwise, i am sure you will be fine.
