Scan at nine weeks shown 2 sacs but they didn't say a thing!! Confused

Hi, I've just had my scan at 9 weeks shows what looks like 2 sacks? One with baby in other without (or hiding) ?.. Really confused as the lady who done the scan said nothing i have a picture and will upload to my profile if anyone can tell me what this is please x

Yay! That does look very similar to my twin scan pic except a fetus each side so now i am confused!

Disappearing twin is very common but i still would have thought they'd have said something just to clarify the 2 sides.

We lost twin 2 at just before 11 weeks so our pics were slightly different but it does look similar with the 2 very separate sides

hmm it is confusing, i googled 9weeks two sacs and found similar pics.

Yea that's what I did but think it made me worse for thinking 2 sacs lol

I think show of hands has it right with those pics.

We had craggy lines and drooping on sac number 2 which apparently lessens the chance of a successful full term pregnancy whereas yours look perfectly formed just like the bladder pics

Hopefully a sonographer will pop up!

It looks like a bladder to me, mine looked just like it! In fact the sonographer made a big thing of showing it to me because she said it was so full

Oh yes I can see OP - def see a second area but appears to be empty so I think you can relax bout twins! I'd show sonographer at your 12 week scan and ask.

My bladder was too full at my 12 weeks scan. The sonographer showed me and told me how much I needed to wee. Three bloody times I had to get up and let out 'a bit of wee'. Each time she showed me how much my bladder had reduced (not enough). Believe me, it looked JUST like that.

I had a scan at 9 weeks, baby looked like a kidney bean and there was a yolk sack still, I asked what it was because I was concerned there was double trouble in there! Just the one though...phew x

That really is weird. It does look like two sacs! I'd call someone an ask, though pretty sure the sonographer would have seen another baby if there was one in there.

By the way congrats on your pregnancy!

Carly I am a sonographer I think you are looking at your own bladder. He sac to the left is pregancy. The big black thing to the right of pic is your bladder xxxx

Im also a sonographer, yep your bladder is to the right of picture and your baby is in the sac on the left.
For your next scan you need to fill your bladder a bit more !!
