Am 38+4 with dc2 and it seems for the last week or so I get searing pain, across the very top of my stomach, just below top part of where rib cage starts. Seems to be worse after Ive eaten anything. Feels like dd is moving legs and omg it hurts so badly. Does anyone know how to alleviate the pain? Making me cry out Confused

Hi - sounds like heartburn to me. GP/MW will probably suggest Gaviscon as a first try. You could go to the surgery and get a precription, or alternatively just buy some over the counter if that would be quicker. I've been knocking back Gaviscon and Rennie tablets for a couple of weeks and all of the packets I've seen explicitly say they're fine during pregnancy.

Thank you mrsmalcomreynolds. Its always better when I'm lying in the bath. I'll get some gaviscon or such like tomorrow. :)
