Is it safe to spray weeds?

Possibly a strange question, but is it ok to use weedkiller while pregnant? We have dandelions a foot tall on the drive and snobby neighbours, we are being judged! I'm not sure whether the chemicals in weedkiller could be harmful to the baby though?

If it's risky then i'll get DH to do it.

I posted this question in the gardening section a while ago.

I looked up glysophates as was suggested and they can be harmful to a foetus. Get DH to do it Smile

I wouldn't.

Tell your neighbours to do one!

No, weedkillers have been linked to male infertility. So would not do it myself or get DH to do it...

Thanks for posting this.

We have weeds on our drive too and on the front, was thinking of spraying this weekend and hadn't even thought about whether I should or not. Will get DH to do it.
