Mid-pregnancy scan - when should it be done?

A bit confused... According to NHS, it should be done between 18 to 20+6 weeks.

I called Fetal Medicine Center and they say it should be done at 20-24 weeks.

Does anyone know how come the deadlines are so different? Are these different scans (they shouldn't be!)?

Thanks!

I think it's supposed to be done before 24 weeks. Where I live they do the scan at 20 weeks on the dot.

Mine is 22+1. Our hospital tries to do it as close to 20 weeks as they can but I have to see consultant so they booked both at same time x
