Hi. Im looking for an "exercise" DVD to start now I'm 25 weeks pg. the only problem is I have mild PGP/SPD and I don't want to aggravate it. But I want to do some light movements and stretches to keep active during my mat leave which starts in a few weeks. I also suffer from anxiety so I just wanted something calming and focusing. Am I unwise to go down the prenatal exercise or yoga route with PGP? My physio gave me some gentle stretches but it would be nice to follow a DVD programme too if possible.

There's a good one by Tara Lee - Pregnancy Health Yoga.

Tara lee suggested moves in that DVD as "great for SPd" including camel pose crossing over legs that totally aggravated my SPD. On the other hand some stuff she suggested not doing with SPd I could personally do- ie can squat as long as weight evenly distributed between both legs.

I think you need to have an idea what aggravates YOUR SPd and avoid it. If you are sensible you can find what you can and can't do. Other than that issue the Tara lee DVD was quite good, I wish she hadn't commented one way or other on SPd rather than giving (for me) specific advice.
