When did you start feeling better...?

I am almost 17 weeks with DC2.

Had quite bad morning sickness for the first 14 weeks or so. I haven't actually puked for a couple of weeks (phew) but still feel really nauseous, headachey and like I have acid in my stomach much of the time.

I have a really full-on job at the moment and taking time off isn't an option as I'm self employed, so no sick pay. I'm getting exhausted and just really want to get to the blooming and energetic phase now!

When did you feel completely better and full of beans? I was fine from 14 weeks with DD so I was expecting to be back on form by now!

I think I started feeling the blooming, energetic phase when I passed 19-20 weeks. Lasted up until I was 30 weeks.

It was about 17/18 weeks for me. It then went downhill again at about 28/29 weeks, with nausea returning in the last couple of weeks, so from 33 weeks.

Oh poor you somanystripes that sounds rubbish. I'm 20 weeks and am still awaiting the glorious blooming phase... which I am certain will be with me any day now Hmm

My morning sickness went at 15 weeks (although I still get a bit of nausea most evenings) but it was quickly replaced with excruciating back pain and the most ridiculous exhaustion. I had no idea it was possible to be this tired: I am so physically whacked that I can barely move some days, let alone use my brain. Which is making full time work an absolute joy Wink. So you have my sympathies!!

Morning sickness until 14 weeks. Wouldn't say I feel exactly blooming now but don't feel like death warmed up anymore either!

18 weeks. In fact it was pretty weird, because all symptoms just disappeared and I stopped "feeling pregnant"... so I worried about that instead Grin

Thanks ladies. bing and smerlin hope you both get to the blooming phase soon too! I think I have false memories about my last pregnancy, I really thought I was bounding around like Tigger by 17 weeks last time (although having a night-waking one year old might have something to do with my permanent knackeredness this time!) In some ways I'm thankful for the symptoms as I've been through the worry of when they stop too. Pregnant women, can't please 'em Wink

Im 20 weeks now and have got some of my energy back, I don't feel great but its an improvement and no sickness :) although the odd phantom smells have me gagging now and again.

attilascupcakes · 18/05/2013 13:57

It was exactly 17 weeks for me, so hopefully you will be feeling better within the next few days Grin

I started to feel better around 16w but I never felt 'blooming' Hmm
