Help! I need a maternity dress for a wedding, any suggestions?

Hello!

I'm having a struggle trying to find a decent maternity dress suitable for a June wedding.

I just looked at Isabella Oliver, but most of the dresses seem quite plain for a wedding and the more jazzy ones are REALLY expensive. As I'll only be wearing it the once I can't justify spending hundreds when I have baby stuff that needs buying too.

Can anyone help with my shopping mission and suggest a few online retailers that sell fashionable dresses for under £100ish?

I'm 32, not 52 and most maternity stuff seems to be so boring.

Agree that you may well get away without maternity specific clothes at 5 months: both pregnancies whilst I looked/felt bigger I didn't really pop out into a bump till 24-26 wks. I had a wedding at 6 months a couple of months ago and got a blue lace dress from New Look's maternity range for about £30 - like Asos, their maternity sizing seems huge (I always go for my bigger size otherwise at new look as find their normal stuff cut quite small).

Will also second ASOS and eBay. Got a nice blue maxi dress from ASOS and bargins from eBay. Am really weary of knee-length dresses as worried that my legs will swell and will look Fiona's from Shrek, but maxi dresses (especially jersey ones) are too warm. Wore one last weekend (no tights, just knickers, bra and sequinned bolero) - cold weekend and was roasting.
Still debating wether to go to a really fancy reception at 38 weeks or do I say 'no thanks' straight away...

I wore a normal maxi dress when I was 5 months
However did have 3 other weddings later in my pregnancy so had a dress from h&m (which I got for a christening and didn't wear) was £15! And 2 dresses from Asoa which were lovely but definitely for more 'bump' than less
I also had a really nice dress from new look which I wore to the races for a hen party
Good luck

Asos sale was useful for me. I agree that the sizing comes up a little big but was grateful for this when I wore my dress at 37 weeks and it still fit me

Another vote for Debenhams here. They still have their clearance on at the moment and I was in there today and picked up quite a few nice things! And in the non-clearance there's plenty of dresses - it's all under the Red Herring label. I wore a Red Herring maternity dress to a wedding back in 2006 so I guess they've been offering maternity a while now.
