We've been trying for a baby for 2 years. I was due on on the 8th but still no sign. I have sore boobs, cramping and pains on the right side, itching all over especially my boobs and legs and more tired than normal.
I darent do a test yet as don't want to get my hopes up to then have my heart broken again but I can't stop thinking bout it

Cramping and pains is not a good sign when pregnant.

They are all symptoms of pregnancy, but the only way to know for sure is to take a test.

Cramping and pains are also a completely normal sign in the very early stages of pregnancy, don't worry. Even if you are pregnant, your body is still used to having a period each month, so you may get some cramping, maybe even a little bit of spotting. All perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

Go POAS (in the morning)!

Don't worry ladies! The "cramping pain" is normal and as long as it isn't excruciating then shouldn't be anything to worry about! You have ligaments and muscles in your pelvic and abdominal regions and as your baby and your uterus grow it stretches those out causing the pains you are feeling!

Most tests are accurate even before your period is due, so if you are a couple of days late then hopefully you'll get a big fat positive. Do it with first morning urine as hormone levels will be more concentrated. Good luck.

All yr symptoms sound like mine when i got my BFP. Googling symptoms didn't help as they said i could be due on, pregnant or menopause. The crucial difference was that i was having classic period pain as in immenant arrival of period but no period for longer than normal.

I did a test 1 day after period due and the result was clear. I ummed and arrred about doing a test but in the end realised that doing or not doing a test was not going to change anything but would stop me wondering and going nuts googling!!! The test that shows pregnant/ not pregnant showed i was 2/3 weeks PG meaning actually 3/4 weeks PG according to how the NHS determine it.

POAS, BFP, and OP means please only joined Friday and not used to short hand lol.
Today is what should be the last day of my period and still no show but still having the uncomfortable feelings below my stomach, they don't feel like period pains and I don't feel like my period is due as I usually feel swollen and tender down below. Not done a test yet as my fiance says not to rush that I might just be late, I know he doesn't want me to get my hopes up but it's driving me mad waking up everyday and not knowing. I've ordered a test on eBay told him I'm gonna do it when it comes so by then I'll probably be a week late

Just go an get a pound shop one today and get it over with! If you're 4 days late and pregnant, even a cheapie test should be positive by now. Good luck x

Good luck, can't believe you're being so patient, I couldn't not test, got my bfp 2 days before my period was due.

God - I really admire your patience. I would recommend getting a First Response early Response (frer) test or a clear Blue Digital the FRER has always worked for me from 3 days before period due and the clearblue from day period due. They will deffo work now and very accurate

I think I'll wait. But Im just being careful just incase like last night we went out for dinner and I usually like a s and l bulmers but just had a j2o lol and had steak but asked for well done when I usually still like it to moo LOL

I tested 5 days BEFORE my period was due and got a positive so I'm not sure why you feel you need to wait so long?!

You also do not need to wait for morning pee - anytime is fine!

Don't torture yourself - go and test and see what it says. There's no need to out yourself through more angst! Good luck!

It's totally up to you but I do know (from a friend's experience) that the disappointment after being able to "pretend" for a little bit was probably worse due to the delay

Why wait? If you are late, then if you are pg it will show on the stick.

Test test test!! I tested 4 days early with a poundshop cheapie and it was positive. The longer it goes on the more you'll get your hopes up and if its sadly not you'll be more upset. Let us know how it goes. I know how u feel tho, you dread the disappointment by testing but at least then you'll know for sure xx

Superdrug own brand are great, mine showed positive line before due in about 5 seconds

No not tested yet just gonna wait till the ones come I have ordered no point in wasting money on more. I'm almost certain I am now anyway even my 3 year old boy pointed to my belly today and said baby when we've not even talked about it to him and he doesnt know where baby's come from was very strange
