Do I need my notes to have a foetal check at hospital?

Baby is having a quiet day, I'm 35+3 and have been placed under high risk care for birth due to complications in my last pregnancy.

I am debating going up to be monitored at the hospital (5min drive from work) but I have foolishly left my notes at home which is 40min drive away.

Will the unit see me without my notes?

Would have thought they would be more concerned about you going in to get checked than you having travel all that way to get your notes.
When I had to go for monitoring they had the hospitals hard copy of my notes to fill in so there will be a record of your going in.

Quiet days are torture - could you ring them up in advance and ask about the notes?

Am sure they'd be fine without them, but I've heard daft things about some units before, so may be better to ring in advance and find out for sure and also prewarn them you're coming.

Forgot my notes to a booked scan and they were fine, so should not be a problem. They'll just give you pages to insert into your notes.

Rang and checked, they did want to see me and they didn't mind about lack of notes. Until I got there and the unit MW decided to keep on and on at me about not having my notes on me at all times

Baby is fine I should add, student MW was lovely but by heck some of the older ones seem to have lost their bedside manner!
