Anyone else sick throughout the whole pregnancy

Am 26 weeks with dc2. With dd I was sick every day through the whole pregnancy minus a couple of lucky escapes! Have been sick all the way through with this one too.

The sickness was much worse at the beginning but I am really starting to dread the next day as I just want to feel well.

I am sick of hearing from people who were slightly nauseous or only sick a couple of times. I feel so alone and isolated that I am this unlucky. I even know its 96 days till I give birth, not that I'm counting or anything!!!

Yes! With ds I threw up daily till 34 weeks and felt sick till labour.

With this one (33 weeks) been on anti sickness from 8 weeks. Haven't been sick for a few weeks but feeling frankly rotten on a daily basis. I can't wait for labour!

I feel your pain! 28 weeks with first baby. Been sick from 6 weeks. Am on anti sickness meds and if I try to stop or reduce them I end up feeling worse for a few days. I have reduced my working hours recently and being less tired definitely helps. Mostly I'm just very nauseous especially early morning and evenings, so I can eat/function during the day. Can't offer any groundbreaking advice only much sympathy and hand holding! (Smile)

Yes, only gained half a stone with DS 2 due to all the vomiting. Felt like I was constantly being poisoned for nine months.

Am on anti sickness meds too and agree that if I try and cut them out I feel worse. Why oh why did I decide to do it again.

I'll never forget waking up the morning after giving birth and feeling sickness free for the first time in 9 months. With DD I lost half a stone, with this one I seem to have gained it and more. May have something to do with the huge amount of cheese I'm craving!!!

I feel for you ladies.

(And don't get me started on ginger this and ginger that being the answer to everything)

I got to 11 weeks with DD1 with no sickness, just a bit of nausea. Thought I was quite lucky. Then at week 11 I started being sick several times a day every day with nausea non-stop. I was shattered all of the time and ended up leaving to go on maternity close to the first day I could. Glad I did as DD1 came 4 weeks early and I'd had time to rest and learn to crochet

I lost half a stone over the pregnancy, and once I had DD1 and got on the scales I'd lost nearly 2 stone I had it to lose The sickness stopped as soon as my labour started.

My second pregnancy was quite different, much less sickness and felt so much better. I'm not one to 'glow' during pregnancy, unless the glow is green.

I'm 24 weeks and still being sick once or twice a day, although the constant nausea and non-stop puking of the first trimester has eased of a fair bit. I'm very jealous of all the gorgeous, glowing, sickness-free ladies.
