Boobs!

When did your boobs start to grow and how by many sizes? I've already got size G and am terrified about how big they might get and how uncomfortable it will be. Finding clothes to fit will be interesting... I have a feeling I'm going to be all boob by the end of it!

Hi Jenna I'm ten weeks and have already gone up a cup size, from and F to a G so have a feeling we're in the same boat! My partner even has a 'bet' going with his football mates as to how big I'm gonna get! Charming lol.

I know that feeling! I started as a 38H and at 28 weeks I am already a 40JJ.
The lady at Bravissimo who did my last fitting was helpful but basically warned me that there are only two wireless bra models available at that size. Nursing wise I will have to order from the NCT website as I am likely to need an L and virtually nowhere stocks them - god help me!!
Put simply though, you don't get any choice about what happens so let's just go with it and worry about something else instead!

Given that I was a pre-pregnancy size 18 there must be women out there bigger than that... What else is out there for the well-upholstered pregnant or nursing lady?

I was a 36F now 36G and 12 weeks but they went up around week 7 I think x

Hi big boobers!

First pg I went from 36DD to 38GG... I was still feeding DD1 until quite recently (she had her last feed the day before my positive test) so they haven't really had a chance to go down much (was a 34GG in Jan) and are now on the increase again. I'm slightly concerned because even if I lose weight it never seems to come off my boobs so god knows where I'll end up. Clothes-wise, I bought a size up for maternity clothes, which I found to be quite stretchy, and then looked like a sack of spuds post birth, for about nine months. Hopefully someone will be along with better news soon.....

I went from 36C to 36FF. The bra measuring woman in John Lewis said I'd probably go up another size again when my milk comes in. I'm 25 weeks now.

But my SIL didn't change bra size at all through her pregnancy and a friend of mine only went from 36D to 36E then back to original size after 6 months.

I went up 3 cup sizes by 5 weeks... However, I am now 18 weeks and they haven't grown any further. The first few weeks they were very tender but that seems to have settled down a bit, they are still rather firm though and feel a little akin to rocks.

I totally lost this thread some how, and thank you for all your replies! Boobs have definitely gone up a size, I know i need to get a new bra but I get the feeling as soon as I do I'll need another size up!

Week 13 so still plenty of time to engorge! Going up a size in dresses and tops is a good idea though for a bit more room up top.

If anyone knows any great clothes for bigger boobed ladies please share

Mine only went up one size in pregnancy and so far (5 days post partum) haven't grown much since. Pepperberry do boob sized clothes. Maternity and nursing tops I have just been wearing things that are a size bigger than usual.

Am I the only one relishing my new-found cleavage? I was barely a 32A and am delighted to have gone up one cup size already (I'm 11 weeks) and to me they feel HUGE and I plan to enjoy it while it lasts! I do sympathise though with those of you with the opposite problem as I too find it difficult normally to get clothes to sit right on me as I have nothing to hold them up.

You are soooo lucky Tiny. I wish I had small boobas but no such luck.
I'm a 32 ff normally, and on the birth of my first child, they measured 34 j !!!! I looked humongous esp as I'm tall and slim.
I'm 7 wks preg and they are already getting uncomfortably big. I'm with you Misty :-)

Have gone from a 34F to a 36G and am 24 weeks. They are also really sore :( They are going to be enormous once the milk comes in! Finding the bras really uncomfortable too - am only 5 foot, so the boning is too long in the front and the sides come up too high. Winge, winge. Anyone know of any brands designed for short big boobed women?

Tinyflutterby, enjoy the new cleavage :) I think we're maybe operating on different scales though. Mine must weigh at least 100 pounds... ok maybe 10, but its a lot of extra cushion to lug about.

Haha I'm like you tinyflutterby, still in my A cup bra but definitely feeling fuller and loving having some curves (at least to me, probably still look like a pancake to everyone else). There's got to be a happy medium out there, but hoping I personally get a growth spurt later on :-)

I was a 34gg before DS and pretty much stayed the same size (except boobs were definitely fuller and heavier). I did go up a back size during pregnancy but that was just working round bump. Am now pg with DC2 (was still feeding when found out I was expecting) and nothing much has changed.

32e before, went into 34e within a few weeks of BFP, stayed the same for a while until recently went up to 34f (22weeks now) Definitely worth getting fitted in a few places, I've been given wildly different sizes to try in shops. Maternity fitters seem to recognise that you'll get bigger in the ribs & cup whilst normal fitters try to squash your ribs expecting the bra to stretch before you do grrr
