I heard eating bananas help due to potassium also tonic water???? Don't know what they do but they work. I used to get it in my toes and calves and eating a banana b4 bed seemed to do the trick

have just googled and it says not to use tonic water as it contains something called quinine??? whic is a muscle relaxant, how pg are you?

mabel1973 · 19/05/2006 12:56

I'm 24 weeks - I wasn't sure about quinine - if it's safe or not - I've never seen anything saying it's not.

Somebody suggested ready salted crisps to me for the salt content. The pain after my cramp lasted for nearly a week!
