When does one start them again?

Did both for dd- had a very short pushing stage and very minimal stitching. So now I need to start thinking about it!!

I was told 37 weeks

I had RLT with both of mine, it made no difference.

Both were forceps deliveries, both ended in PPH. So much for uterus toning properties.

I think your short pushing stage and minimal stitching were more down to luck and good genes than tea and oil Grin

I was told to start perineal massage at 34weeks - to "ensure optimum results" - Ha! But if you've had a child before, I would have thought you're body could do it again with minimal tearing... That's why each time you give birth it's supposed to be shorter - because you're body muscles know what they're doing xxxx
