I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and I've had three in as many weeks. Grr!

I did, never really suffered from headaches before so didn't know what to make of it... They pretty much stopped after 12 weeks (though I stopped trying to be a super-woman and started eating more frequently, taking more rest, exercising regularly, etc))))

Are you taking any pills to cope with it?

I am... But paracetamol don't touch the sides so not really helping. Might see the docs to see if they can suggest anything stronger.

I have two toddlers so it makes loking after them ten times harder. Plus I'm getting a bit paranoid about the frequency potentially meaning something more serious!

Glad yours stopped eventually.

Wow, with two toddlers you are a super-woman!)))

Yeah, that's the trouble, not knowing if it's just a headache or a sign of something more serious... Although if nothing else really bothers you it's very unlikely to be so, right? Seeing your doctor defo won't hurt and may be try different things, you know, changing you daily routine slightly or diet or using lavender oil etc - something should work! Flowers

I suffer from migraine and hemiplegic migraine and it absolutely destroys me when I have them. I have been under a specialist for ten years and pregnancy is making them so much worse but even tho I have this the docs still won't give me anything stronger than paracetamol and the sticks u rub on ur head. It's called for head. It doesn't help a great deal but takes the edge off.
Sorry not much help. But didn't want u to expect the doc to give u something and then be disappointed x

I had a couple a week until I was about 14/15 weeks. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time and only went to the GP's to ask about them and had to do a test to rule out pregnancy before he would look into it further.

After the BFP, there wasn't anything he could give me to help with them and I had to suffer in (not so much) silence until they trailed off

It was hellish and I didn't have 2 toddlers to look after at the same time so you have my sympathies!

I had a few during first trimester and then from 12 weeks-16 weeks I had at least two a week. It was pure hell. I tried everything and nothing worked until I saw my osteopath in tears and he did some cranial osteopathy on me. It reduced them dramatically and then they just stopped. Might have been combination of that and hormones stabilising but other women I've spoken to have found it helpful as well. Hope you get some relief soon, I feel your pain!

Try a strong menthol stick on your forehead / the cold headache patches you stick on your head from Boots.

Doesn't cure it but I find it takes the edge off of it do can function a little better...
