Expecting dc1 and at 19 weeks today I still can't feel a single thing... no butterflies, swimming fish, wiggly worms, random flutters, tummy rumbles or miscellaneous sensations... I'm trying to be patient and have my 20 week scan in 9 days time so don't see the point in bothering the midwifes but I am starting to worry a wee bit to the point that I am feeling a wee bit teary at times.......

Is anyone else the same? Or was the same?

Thanks for reading....

Another front lying placenta...I could feel a buzzing at about 18 Weeks but def kicks only in the last few, i'm now 24 Weeks but dh can't feel anything which I think is disappointing him!

I have an anterior placenta too and didn't really feel much until 22/23 weeks. Am now 28 weeks and the wee so-and-so is doing a 'disco! disco!' every couple of hours.

He's breach so I get the occasional boot in the chuff....

Occasionally he'll punch so hard my entire bump moves. Boyf had to tell him off one night for 'undue enthusiasm'.

You'll feel your baby soon.... and when you do it's great :D

Aw thank you thank you thank you!!! I can't tell you all enough how reassuring your comments are!!! xxx

20 week scan tomorrow so at least I will get to find out what's what and where everything is positioned which will no doubt help to explain a lot more... and your references to baba girls n boys is soooooo exciting!!! Maybe tomorrow we, too, will be able to say the same... one or the other... and baba will no longer be 'the' baby but HE or SHE...!!!!!! :) :) :) xxx
