I'm hoping someone can give me some advice, I'm six weeks pregnant with my first and really dizzy from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. Anyone had anything similar and can offer me any advice? Am taking iron tablets but not sure if I should be going to see the doctor or I just have to put up with it? Thank you :)

I had this. With me it turned out to be my blood pressure that was too low. I'd get to the doctor if I were you, they can check you over and hopefully reassure you that it's nothing to worry about. Don't want to worry you but my BP was erratic for my entire pregnancy & I kept fainting. At least when I fainted (street, supermarket, work, etc) I could tell people I wasn't really ill. I did have to tell people at work when I was just 8 weeks though, as they are nosy buggers & had already guessed!

I had this, the room would spin and I'd feel faint and sick, it had passed by about 14 weeks though. I'm 22 weeks now and feeling fairly good :)

Do get checked for anaemia. Mine was related to low blood pressure and all that helped me was to drink, drink, drink! My MW said you need to drink double what you normally would when pregnant. Have a bottle at all times.
