Has anyone recently been following the Gentle Birth Method (Gowri Motha) and had success with it? It seems rather stringent and almost like one has to attend multiple sessions with practitioners, lots of products and supplements, etc. Would be worth it if the results were evident, beyond the book testimonials! Thanks!

Tried it with DD1 and have interviewed Gowri (am a journo) have to say I think it's a lovely idea but nothing amazing. Plus - have you seen how much Rose Otto oil sells for! Celeb mums have the money and freebies thrown at them to do things like this; is just an added pressure IMHO

I read gentle first year, and preferred that to the more mainstream baby books (Gina Ford, Baby Whisperer etc) although didn't use the birth methods.
