Hi all Im 36+3 today and when I went to the loo this morning and wiped there was stringy greenish yellow stuff tinged with blood on the tissue. Gross I know, sorry!
Is this my mucus plug and if so does it mean I could go into labour early?
Should I be contacting my midwife?
Thanks for any help!

I would contact your midwife and ask her. From what I know mucus plug should be clear or can be blood tinged, but not greenish yellow, that could possibly indicate infection (or just be heavy discharge). Either way I would ask the professionals and get it checked out.

Sounds like the plug. Contact your midwife and just let her know and ask her about the colouring of it. I went into labour a few hours after my first show, which was followed by a bigger bloodier chunk.
