the prawns would be from a supermarket, so they are cooked, but they are cold

i really really fancy one, with some thick crusty brown bread, buttered

but dont want to take any unnessacrey risks

Cooked prawns are absolutely fine assuming you've no shellfish allergies etc.

yes no allergies, i would buy them from waitrose, and eat them straightaway, do you think its best to get the ones in a packet or the ones from the counter?
i'm thinking the packaged ones may be better

I've had them about twice a week so I sincerely hope so! I get the Waitrose packet ones. I really don't see why not though to be honest.
