Hi sisi I'm 35wks with breech baby, as far as I'm aware transverse is pretty much the same which is that at your 36wk app off the baby hasn't moved you would be sent to maybe have a scan ( defo for breech to make sure but maybe transverse is already very obvious) and talk with specialist about either turning or c section, I too have seen a bad thread on here about turning but also heard very positive things about it from RL friends etc with whom it worked for, I believe the sucsess rate is about 70% and I was reassured they did a scan before and after and monitored you very carefully so I think it would be a case of listening very carefully and researching then making your decision, you clearly wouldn't be able to have the option of vb transverse like I have with breech vb but just remember the all options are risky and c section just as much so though perhaps more to us then baby
Fx our babies just decide to play nice and turn themselves!!

I had a transverse baby until 36 weeks, then he just turned. Didn't even feel it happening. Lucky really as he was born at 38 weeks. However, I always thought he had been dated wrong, by 2 weeks (lots of reasons but he was really tiny when he was born and I always wondered if that was because he was 'really' 36 weeks at birth, therefore 34 weeks when he turned).
