Where/how do I feel my baby bump (if I've got one yet!)

Hello all,

Possibly a silly question, I'm 14 weeks, and not sure if I've got a small bump yet or if it's chub from the constant eating to stave of nausea in the early weeks

How low down do I need to feel? Will it feel hard at 14 weeks?

Sorry for the silly question, I'd love any advice.

The uterus usually pops out above the pubic bone at about 12 weeks. It'll feel firm rather than hard. It's currently about the size of a large grapefruit. I'd be surprised if you can feel it yourself yet, but you never know! But yes, you will probably have a little bump by now, though it usually takes to about 20-25 weeks before it looks like a baby bump rather than just extra podge IME!

Hi scraggy, im 12 weeks and a couple of day's ago I suddenly started to feel (without touching) that my tummy isn't now hard. Not rock hard, but definitely solid rather than squishy (like normal Grin)
Generally though, just look like I've been eating too much

At 14 weeks if I lay down on my back and felt up from my pubic bone I could feel like an inflated balloon poking out there. It is difficult to find though!

I'm 16 weeks and cannot find anything. Went to osteopath today and when I removed my top she actually laughed and said where is your bump!

I am in no rush to pile on the pounds but it would be slightly reassuring to see that something is going on in there. All in good time I guess!
