I'm currently 32 weeks and wondering if its too early to wash the Moses basket and pram bedding? I'm not sure if i wash it now will it need washing again by the time he gets here (dust etc) or is now about the right time to prepare incase he makes an early arrival?
Apologies for the very exciting topic!! Does the same apply to clothes also?

I've washed mine at 33 weeks/34 weeks and I've covered it all with large plastic bags so I wasn't intending to wash mine again. I felt like I needed to do when I did- was majorly nesting lol x

I've washed all of the 0-3 and 3-6 clothes already, and put them in a case, I've left the Moses basket in its plastic and will wash the stuff in it as late as possible, 36/37 weeks probably (c section at 38 weeks).

If you have a washer & a dryer it will be very quick to chuck the stuff in if the baby does arrive early. I'm just like you and worry about it getting dusty, and as I have a dog I like to try to limit the possible dog hair exposure!

Might be worth waiting then. I'm eager to get organised and want to make up his bed etc. I really don't want to come gone from hospital and have to wash vests and sheets!

I'm sure it will be okay to do it now if you want to :)

I was so excited to get ready I've already packed a hospital bag and I'm only 30 weeks!

I've did all mine last week. I'm 32 weeks now. It'll be fine, especially if it's in cupboard or drawer, unless you are going to knock a wall down or have a new kitchen or something between now and the arrival. I did know someone whose friends came in and cleaned her flat from top to bottom the day before she left hospital with her newborn baby, only for her husband to relieve his anxiety by knocking a wall down in the evening ShockGrin.
