When to start mat leave with #2?

Dc1 will be nearly 2 when dc2 arrives. Went on leave at 36 weeks with dc1...not sure when to start it with this one. Dc1 is currently in nursery full time and will go part time when baby arrives.

I have decided to finish at 36 weeks this time. With DS I finished at 37+2 and went into labour on 37+6 so trying to give myself a bit more rest this time!

Same as DC1, 37 weeks, want as much time off after as possible. I only work part time though

I'm starting to wind down now (31 wks) due to spd but will be on mat leave from 36 weeks. With dc1 I took my holiday from 32-36 weeks then mat leave started. I was still being sick at 34 weeks and had a history of miscarriage so was advised to not get too tired.

I am finishing next week, I'll be at the end of 36weeks.

37 or 38 weeks. Might need a c section so will decide at 36 weeks. If not I'll do the extra week.

Ds was 10 days late and ELCS so I'm not expecting this one to come quickly on his own

I'll be at the end of 37 weeks not 36!

I'm doing holiday from 34 weeks so effectively on ML from then. Would be going a couple of weeks later if I didn't have holiday booked.

Looking forward to some rest before the newborn relentlessness ensues!

I work ft with ds1 I went at 36 weeks then wasted 6 weeks waiting for him to arrive!!! (42.2!!)

With ds2 I finished at 39 weeks! As it was the Xmas Hols I actually finished work at 41weeks ds2 arrived at 42 weeks exactly

I'm due on 21sept so ill go back after summer for 2weeks and finish on the 16th

I'm the main earner so ill have to go back by Xmas :( ill have. About 14wks off in total

I worked until 39+4 with ds (arrived 41+6). This time I am finishing at 38+4 although expect I will prob go over again, will be nice to have a few weeks of no work first though

I worked until 39 weeks with dd, she arrived 41+5. I want to make the most out of mat leave. I think with dc2 it depends whether you will be more rested at work or at home. For me sitting on an adjustable chair in the office sounds more comfy than running around after another kid!
