Self testing for GBS

So my pack arrived today for my GBS test, it says it's better to do it at the beginning of the week due to the kind of samples they are, better not to be hanging around waiting to be posted and tested over the weekend. So I'm going to wait until Monday.

Is it easy to do? Anyone done it themselves before?!

I did it myself. Just got the results, I sent them back on the Wednesday and they texted back the results on Sunday. The test tubes has gel in them so I don't think it makes any difference when you send them and the lab seems to work over the weekend, (if we are using the same place).

The swabs were really easy to take and I was impressed they texted me back over the weekend.

I sadly tested positive, but I would much rather know and be prepared.
