Connection between movements and early labour signals?

I know there are some 'early' signs which can often indicate you're going to go into labour soon (ie a show, diarrhoea etc) but wondered if anyone has noticed a specific change in movement in the week or so before labour? Ie did your baby move around more at certain times or did they keep more quiet the more engaged they got?

Just curious Smile

I'm not sure there is a connection, haven't thought about lack of movement before but about 3 days before I went into early labour I didn't feel much movement and went to hospital for a trace. All was fine.

I suppose it depends how early you're talking - I did have a bit of an upset stomach but never once (at 27 weeks) thought it was labour. Didn't have any other signs.
